“Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”

Upcoming!

The Elders (CLASS IS FULL)

August 31 @ Tonic 2- 4:30

Making Herbal syrups Together, we will blend herbal syrups while exploring the basics of herbal energetics and making healing elixirs for your home apothecary. You'll each take home a bottle of elderberry syrup infused with other herbs and made with local honey for immune support.  We will also sample herbal syrups to add flavor and health to sparkling drinks.

Herbal Oxymels & Fire Cider (CLASS IS FULL)

Oct 26 @ Tonic 2-4:30

Get ready for the turn of the seasons with an immune supporting and warming batch of fire cider.  We will explore various preparations of herbal oxymels and blend our own batch of fire cider with locally harvested herbs, roots, warming spices and honey for each participant to take home.

Locally Grown Incense & Smoke Bundles

November 23 @ Tonic 2-4:30

Together we will make herbal burn bundles and incense cones from locally grown and harvested plants.  White sage and palo santo are commonly sold, as they are wonderful plants that release a lovely fragrance, but suffer from overharvesting.  There are many plants that can be used as incense that you can grow or selectively harvest from the surrounding area, while alleviating the pressure on overharvested plants.

Join us for creative community crafting and  take home gifts to enter the winter dream time.

"Jen is a delightful and knowledgeable Earth Educator. When guiding groups, whether it is with youth or adults, she does so with clarity, tuned into the project and to the audience she is guiding.  Her love and enthusiasm of Earth’s wonders shines brightly as she shares the joys with others in a kind, clear, loving manner.  It was a pleasure to have Jen at Wind Dance Farm as an Earth Educator. She is marvelous and magical in many ways."
